I went and watched my first roller derby game nearly 10 years ago and was intrigued instantly.  I had skating experience from skating artistically when I was younger so I signed up and have never looked back.  I have found a place to test myself whilst being completely out of my comfort zone; meet new people; take on new responsibilities and find some beautiful new friends that I know I will have in my life for a very long time.  I am very inveseted in coaching our new skaters as I feel my previous skating experience is beneficial for this.  I love seeing how they flourish and accomplish their goals whilst leaning a new sport.  I love sharing their successes and lifting them up when things don't quite go to plan.  I coach higher levels to give back.  I hope to bring fun and laughter to my coaching sessions, as if its not fun, why would we bother?  Roller Derby has taught me to be comfortable in my own skin, that I am strong and even though I am "Tiny" I can hold my own out ont he track.  I am constantly learning new skills and enjoying the challenge of translating them to the track  -  Tiny
